Dusk to Dawn charges $90.00 per hour.
Dusk to Dawn employees work in 3-hour time blocks. Exceptions can and will be made as necessary, upon which, a written contract must be signed indicating the agreed upon schedule.
Money Orders (Postal and/or Bank), Cash App, Zell, Venmo and PayPal. Cash and personal checks are not acceptable methods of payment.
Dusk to Dawn physically operates within the Washington DC, Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas. Remotely, via Zoom and Face Time, Dusk to Dawn operates worldwide.
Dusk to Dawn charges a $250 Consultation Fee. Consultation timeframes range anywhere between (30) minutes to (1) hour.
Secured by the Consultation Fee is (1) visit or Zoom meeting with the client. This meeting can be held at the time of consultation or may occur at a different time and/or separate date shortly thereafter (within 2 weeks) the consultation. This decision remains at the discretion of the Client/Family.
A second (15) minute consultation will be offered for free if there are any follow up questions.
Any consultation beyond this point would fall into the category of Dusk to Dawn’s employment with a Client.
Only when a member of Dusk to Dawn is serving in a volunteer capacity are they inclusively considered as part of the relevant medical facility’s Hospice Team.
Nonetheless, even when employed for fee, Dusk to Dawn employees work diligently to ensure that our presence flows seamlessly, thus without conflict or interference, with our clients’ Hospice Team.
However, at no time, whether in a volunteer capacity, or employed for fee, does any Dusk to Dawn employee serve in any medical capacity.
A Dusk to Dawn employee is not a Home Health Care Aide, and for ethical reasons, refrain from serving in such capacities.
Yes. Dusk to Dawn employees sit active vigil.
However, as death does not adhere to strict scheduling factors, the Dusk to Dawn employee assigned to a client, prior to the clients’ transitioning, will work with the Client/Family/Hospice Team, to ensure that an active vigil schedule has been created, approved by relevant parties, and distributed accordingly.
Dusk to Dawn works vigilantly with our Client/Family/ Hospice Team, to ensure that our clients are provided the best End of Life care possible.
In the unfortunate event that responsible parties determine that Dusk to Dawn’s services do not meet the needs of their loved one, under reasonable circumstances, the contract may be agreeably dissolved, and a 20% refund of the payment for the last hour worked will be returned to the payee if requested.
Dusk to Dawn’s service is paid for in advance. After the initial consultation, if it is agreed that Dusk to Dawn will be employed by the Client, the first three hours must be paid for in advance.
After which, if employment is to continue, payment shall be made prior to the next time block.
However, if a Client/Family/Hospice Team, decides that Dusk to Dawn’s services are no longer needed, the responsible party may elect to dissolve the contract prior to acquiring any additional services.
No. There is no fee for cancellations or termination of a contract.
No. It is not required that Dusk to Dawn clients be COVID-19 vaccinated. Nevertheless, during in person visits, Dusk to Dawn employees practice appropriate distancing protocols.
Yes. Dusk to Dawn will work with clients in care facilities and homes. Accordingly, clearance must be given by the facility of care for this agency to enter onto the premises.
Yes, upon request, certification and reference information will be provided during initial consultation.
If the company is unable to take on a potential client, if that client does not have a Hospice Team, Dusk to Dawn will put them in contact with proven professional that are able to assist them.
However, under no circumstance with Dusk to Dawn refer a client to an agency that has not been vetted by this company.
Dusk to Dawn does not serve in the capacity of a Medical Practitioner. As such, malpractice insurance is not required. Nevertheless, the company is insured. With this, and to ensure the integrity of the services offered by the company, all client interactions are recorded.
